Just spent a week up in the north of Scotland, shooting some images for Finisterre, and sliding into a few chilly tubes when possible…
Earlier this year I had the great job to shoot all the images for a new cookbook by the guys at Pieminister. Working together with the awesome peeps at Harris + Wilson and my good buddies at A-Side Studio we ate pies, made cheese, ate pies, shot pheasants, ate pies, had a fake second christmas, ate pies and ate pies.
A very good job indeed.
The book is relaeased in a few days on September 1st and available from the usual suspects including Amazon. Rad.

down south, life goes on…

It’s been a wierd week, I lost a mate from down south, a inspiring man with far too few years under his belt. It’s put my own mortality into perpective and made me realise we are truly blessed to be here. More now than ever I’m going to commit to making the most of the days I have, living through experience and taking some photos along the way, to hopefully, one day, inpire others to do the same.
I know Jonno would approve.
Thanks for the inspiration fella, we will miss ya. RIP.
So last week, i got the job of shooting the wedding of top wedding photographer, Kirstin Prisk and his stunning wife Nina . As nervous as I was (shooting another photographers wedding…eek) I couldn’t pass on the brief… “bring along your 6x6, a load of film and shoot the shit outa it”
So thats exactly what I did, and It was great.

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labour and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.
